Although he was known primarily for his song-forward drumming and his intuitive production of other artists’ records, Billy wrote boatloads of songs over his lifetime. He shared them with others only occasionally, and if he had higher aspirations for them he kept it to himself. After he passed away in 2021, some of his friends and collaborators gathered in his old NH farmhouse for 5 days to record as many songs as they could capture, and the result is this brilliant collection of stories through music.
